LIST OF ALL POSSIBLE ENTRIES TO JOIN INDIAN ARMED FORCES AFTER 10+2

After the huge success of Indian army in their surgical strike on the Pakistani militants base camps.The youth of India is really inspired to join the armed forces and to serve the nation willingly.Now here comes the tricky part they know that they have to join defense but are poor in the knowledge of the opportunities they have/get to join the armed forces . so this blog will help you to provide the knowledge of all possible entries to join Indian armed forces after 10+2

There are 2 positions you can apply for in armed forces ;

1. AS A SOLDIER

2. AS AN OFFICER

Now first lets discuss all possible opportunities/entries to join Indian armed forces as a SOLDIER

1. Soldier General Duty SSLC

• Educational qualification required is 10th/matric
• Age limit is 16-21years

2. Soldier Technical Duty SSLC

• Educational qualification required is 10th/matric with atleast 45%
• Age limit is 16-23years

3. Soldier Clerk SSLC

•  Educational qualification required is 10th/matric with atleast 45%
• Age limit is 16-23years

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant SSLC

• Educational qualification required is 10th/matric with Maths, English &
  Biology
• Age limit is 16-23years

5. Soldier Tradesman

• Educational qualification required is non matric
• Age limit is 16-20years

6. AIRMEN

• Educational qualification required is 10+2
• Age limit is 16-21years

1. NDA

Also known as  NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY is treated as the most prestigious academy of our country. Lakhs of students willing to become an officer sit in NDA exam but only few make it through till the academy.

NDA exam is held twice in a year i.e is in month of APRIL/SEPTEMBER

• Educational qualification required ;

         Candidate must be appearing/passed 12th with maths and physics as mandatory subjects.

         Candidate must have passed English subject with atleast 60% marks

• Age limit ;

       Age restricts from 16-19.5 years

2. TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME (TES) ;

This entry gives the 10+2 candidate a direct chance to join Indian armed ARMY as an OFFICER.

This entry is open twice in a year

Qualifying this entry a candidate is sent to OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY(OTA)GAYA for the training .

  

Educational qualification required ;

   Candidate must have passed 12th with atleast 70% marks in PCM i.e physics,chemistry and maths

    Candidate must have passed english with atleat 60% marks

• Age limit ;

      Age restricts from 16-19.5 years

3. 10+2 NAVY ENTRY ;

This entry gives the 10+2 candidate a direct chance to join Indian armed NAVY as an OFFICER.

This entry is open twice in a year

Qualifying this entry a candidate is sent to INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY(INA) for the training .

• Educational qualification required ;

   Candidate must have passed 12th with atleast 70% marks in PCM i.e physics,chemistry and biology

   Candidate must have passed english with atleat 60% marks

• Age limit ;

    Age restricts from 16-19.5 years
